About RunBrella
Because running together is nicer – and safer.
Many people run alone even though they'd rather not: too early, too late, too lonely, too unsafe. RunBrella wants to change that.
Our idea
An umbrella protects without boxing you in. That's what RunBrella should be: open to everyone who wants to run together, with clear rules for a good feeling. In the logo, the umbrella's handle turns into a running track – protection and movement in one.
- Safety before growth.
- Data minimisation by conviction, not just because of the GDPR.
- Motivation without leaderboards and without public ratings of people.
Who's behind it
RunBrella is built in Cologne by David Büchel – as an independent project, with a love of running and of good software.
